Nima Afshar AKA Three Fold Comics trained as a graphic designer, and studied drawing and painting at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia. As DJ Ali Reza, he played at the legendary Sydney night Frigid, supporting electronica luminaries on the Rephlex Records tour (The Aphex Twin’s critically acclaimed record label), and alongside Aphex collaborators Squarepusher and Luke Vibert. Nima has been a degen since 2017 and believes NFTs and the Blockchain revolution is the paradigm shift artists have been waiting for. His current project combines NFTs and comics in an innovative way. Follow socials and newsletter to stay updated.
Nima writes and draws cyberpunk, sci-fi and weird fiction; stories that pursue a reflective and mythic quality. The aim, as Alan Moore said, is to try and push the culture forward. In his spare time he volunteers as a Vipassana meditation teacher for children aged 8 to 18 and has been meditating seriously since 2003.
